Industry application background

With the development of economic construction, the state is vigorously promoting the transformation of urban buildings, supporting affordable housing projects, and supporting the infrastructure construction of urban old community transformation and shantytown transformation. Obtaining an accurate building elevation can ensure the consistency of the architectural transformation style of the whole region, which is of great significance to the construction, transformation and facade decoration of the building.

The height measurement method using tape measure or handheld rangefinder has low work efficiency and large data accumulation error. There are certain security risks in collecting data at high places, and the later data storage is difficult and easy to lose.

3D laser scanning technology is a new technology in recent years, which has been paid more and more attention in the research field of our country. Using the principle of laser ranging, by recording the three-dimensional coordinates, reflectivity, texture and other information of a large number of dense points on the surface of the measured object, the three-dimensional model of the measured object and various map data such as lines, surfaces and bodies are quickly reconstructed. Compared with the traditional single-point measurement, 3D laser scanning technology is also known as a revolutionary technology developed from single-point measurement to surface measurement, because the 3D laser scanning system can collect a large number of data points of the target object. Applying this technology to building facade measurement can effectively improve the scientificity and accuracy of planning acceptance, implement planning intentions, rationally use land, and record real engineering construction. Moreover, the elevation measurement results also provide an important basis for law enforcement for urban planning departments and regulatory authorities.

Program Advantages

1. Strong applicability: all-day work, measurement is not affected by light, and the work cycle can be flexibly set.

2. Non-contact measurement: away from dangerous areas, fully protect the safety of equipment and operators.

3. No need to aim: LiGrip handheld laser scanner is separated from the necessary sight, objective lens and eyepiece of total station, theodolite and other instruments, and automatic measurement improves the efficiency of field work.

4. No sketch connection is required: the field data is comprehensive and no sketch is required. Comprehensive selection in the office, complete surveying and mapping tasks, do not have to go to the scene.

5. No perspective projection deformation: In photogrammetry technology, photography is perspective projection, which will produce obvious deformation, and the laser scanner is similar to the total station to directly obtain the distance and angle, so there is no projection deformation at its point.

6. Joint CAD drawing: Points and lines can be directly drawn according to point cloud and sent to CAD toolbar, including drawing 2D and 3D points and lines to CAD, setting and sending coordinates, etc. The tool can transfer the collected 2D polyline objects to AutoCAD software, which is convenient for cartographers to quickly collect 2D line features.
