The GY50-L is a high-precision medium-and long-range ranging laser radar, which is designed by the principle of laser time of flight (TOF,Time Of Flight). In the working state, the laser emits a beam of laser, which will reflect on the target object. The receiver detects the reflected light signal, measures the time difference between the reflected light and the emitted light through time analysis, and multiplies the time by the speed of light to obtain the flight distance of the light, so as to calculate the distance information of the target.

Warning
1. This product uses a semiconductor laser as the light source. Please follow the instructions in this manual during use, otherwise it may cause human body (eyes and skin, etc.) injury accidents.
2. Do not disassemble or modify this product without authorization.
3. About Class 2 Laser Products
-Do not stare at laser and specular reflected light.
-Do not deliberately point the laser at the human body.
-Please be careful with the laser beam path.
If there is a risk of the operator being exposed to the reflected light due to specular or diffuse reflection of the laser, install a protective screen that blocks the beam.
-Please install the product according to the principle that the laser beam path is not as high as the human eye.
4. About Class 1 Laser Products
-Do not stare at laser and specular reflected light.
5. This product shall not be used as an explosion-proof product, and shall not be used in hazardous places and potentially explosive environments.
6. This product uses DC power supply, please do not apply AC power, if AC power supply is applied, it will cause the product to explode or hit.

GY50-L supports both indoor and outdoor applications. For low reflectivity targets and high temperature targets, the GY50-L adopts unique and innovative filtering compensation algorithm, which can reliably detect the target distance and is not affected by any background target.

In operation, the laser emits a beam of laser light, which is reflected by the target object. The flight distance of the light can be obtained by multiplying the time by the speed of light, thereby calculating the distance information of the target object.
